Risingfall is an absolutely astounding musical entity & they’ve mastered their craft in an profound way. Their debut album “Symphony of Storms”, released in 2007, is a “must have” of any true metalhead. “Guilty Souls”, strikes out at you with crunchy guitars & driving bass, smashing into you with a brutally honest awakening… a world of lies & deceit. “One In The Same” sweeps flowing guitars in your ears, throws you inside a perfect musical tornado & leaves you in question of mortality & your existence. “Path of the Divine” draws you in with melodic acoustic guitars & morphs into a musical assault on your ears, taking you on a journey between good & evil. “Path of the Divine” should be considered a musical masterpiece, it’s the epitome of the skill, talent & dedication Risingfall presents. Along with these three tracks, the album features eight others, ready & waiting to invade your ears & explode your mind.
Risingfall is… crunchy, edgy, harsh, rough & raw. They are also very melodic, beautiful, entrancing & pure. When listening to this album you can’t help but bang your head, throw your fists in the air & mosh to the amazing dueling guitars, thumping bass, insane drums & raw vocals… the complete musical precision that is Risingfall.
Update: Risingfall disbanded & went their separate ways on Nov. 12th, 2009. Their Myspace page is still running & their music is still available for purchase. Check them out, they’re really worth the listen.
